La Negra
2007
San Vicente, Uruguay
Constructed Area:
140 m2
This house was designed for a family with two adolescent kids that live in the States and travel to Punta del Este every summer to vacation with their parents. This fact made us rethink the design of the house in order to accommodate every member of the family independently. Thus, we ended up designing a modular plan of four different spaces that were connected with each other by covered decks that duplicated the area constructed.
The house was constructed in treated national pine painted in black, aluminium windows, and white painted pine interiors that blend perfectly in the forest environment.
