Pilará I
2018
Buenos Aires , Argentina
Constructed Area:
532 m2
The project is located in the north of Buenos Aires city, in the exclusive Pilará Country Club. Designed for a young family, generous spaces were built to encourage leisure and entertainment. Noble materials such as concrete, lapacho wood, and iron were used to achieve a contemporary and modern house that could also generate a cozy and familiar atmosphere.
A wooden lattice with olive groves encloses the main entrance, intended to reduce the views from the street. The ground floor accommodates two rooms, a playroom, kitchen, two bathrooms, and maid room. The living-dining room is right in the center of the plan, connected to the gallery by a large window with sliding doors that allows the two spaces to become one. In turn, the gallery links the interior with the pool and the solarium, creating an outdoor space for enjoyment. The upper floor accommodates the master suite. Designed as a private loft, it has a spacious room with an en-suite bathroom overlooking the green surroundings, a dressing room, and two terraces. Wood shutters on the exterior provide sun blocking and privacy.
Surrounded by privileged landscapes and unique views of the golf course, the particularity of the project is the interaction between the interior and the exterior, that merges the sky and green fields directly with each room.
