The house is framed by a very tall pine forest, closed towards the front by a courtyard, and totally open towards the landscape.
It is developed on the first floor, leaving only the main en-suite bedroom and a large terrace on the second floor.
One enters through a central courtyard that highlights the feeling of direct openness towards the pine grove, generating a play of light and shade, of roofed and open air spaces, clearings and tree groves, which give the project its unique character.
The ground floor consists of two totally independent volumes, divided by a large roofed courtyard that integrates the living room, dining room, and kitchen volume with the bedrooms and playroom volume.
The central courtyard articulates the house and, at the same time, extends each room becoming the protagonist of the social gatherings.
The low maintenance materials used combine with the idea of a spartan house, ideal for beach living.
[:es]La casa se encuentra enmarcada por un bosque de pinos de gran altura, cerrada a través de un patio hacia al frente y totalmente abierta hacia el paisaje.
Su desarrollo es en planta baja, dejando solamente la suite principal y una gran terraza en la planta alta.
Se accede a través de un patio central que enfatiza la sensación de apertura directa hacia el bosque de pinos, generando un juego entre luces y sombras, de espacios cubiertos y descubiertos, arbolados y despejados, que le dan su carácter propio a la obra.
La planta baja son 2 volúmenes totalmente independientes, divididos por un gran patio semicubierto que integra el volumen de living, comedor y cocina, con el volumen de dormitorios y playroom.
El patio central articula la casa y a la vez extiende cada ambiente, siendo el protagonista de las reuniones.
Los materiales utilizados de bajo mantenimiento van con la idea de una casa despojada, ideal para la vida de playa.
