Casa de Amigos
San Vicente, Uruguay
Casa de Amigos is camouflaged among the woodlands of San Vicente and embodies the serenity of the individual in contact with nature.
The boundaries of the home expand outward, so the concept of private quarters is altered by activities performed simultaneously indoors and outdoors. The main living-dining room and kitchen extends towards an outdoor gallery, so the small space becomes a semi-covered intermediate area.
The house, which measures 240 square metres and is built exclusively with local wood painted black, vanishes into the landscape.
